she either retired or served a ban and then came back. As you can see, It's been tough sledding during her return
So do we reduce the men’s matches in early rounds to best of three or increase the women to best of five or have as Sinner suggested, 2 women’s matches when the WTA is featured?Sinner then suggested what tournament organisers would have to do if they wanted women to headline Chatrier’s night session.
“I mean, men’s matches are best of five. We know that. Women’s they are best of three,” he said.
“If they want to put women in the night [session], they have to put at least two matches. Because if someone has a bad day and someone has a very good day, the match is over in less than an hour.

Or do they do the simple thing & simply schedule a single WTA match on some evenings?
How about this provocative idea, ask the WTA if any women’s match scheduled at night is featured to be best of five, otherwise the best of three remains.
Most definitely. Jaz was in complete control of the match and literally just gave it away. She choked in that match, plain and simple. But last year she benefitted someone else's choke. Remember Donna at Wimby? I'm still not convinced she should have changed coaches.Looks like Paolini will have a lot to regret in her loss against Svitolina. Crazy comeback for Elina though.
Yesterday Keys saved some MPs against Kenin too. She has become a clutch player ever since those AO semis and final matches.
And Rybakina found her game just before RG, playing the week before. I wonder if that will come to bite her if she goes deep in RG.Most definitely. I doubt it Don. She skipped Stuttgart where she was defending champ and played 2 Fed Cup matches. If anything she was underprepared before going to Strasbourg. You have to remember she hasn't done much this year w/ that coaching drama hanging over her head. It's a good start, but I need her to stay focused and sweep the court w/ Iga.And Rybakina found her game just before RG, playing the week before. Right now Iga is not on a scoreboard yet.I find women's draw and matches more exciting than men's.
