Sharapova got lucky. She was down 3-1 in the decider when the occasion got to her opponent.

I watched the last part of the 2nd set through the finish. Sharapova was up a break in the 2nd and girl got used to the pace. She started slicing, dropshotting and just junking her. Maria made alot of errors and since the girl served first in the 2nd, she held for 5-4 and was able to get the set w/ a well designed break of serve. She went up 3-1 when she lost the plot a little and got tight.

I think going forward Serena and Patrick may want to develop tactics for ending points quickly. Her movement is like half a step slower than before she left, and I’m not sure she is going to gain that back as she gets fit again. Her serve is getting better as she progresses though if she can get a few matches in and maybe play a warm up before Wimbledon, she could probably go far there.

Thanks. I had this bookmarked the last time you told me about that site, but the stream doesn’t work on my iPad.

That's because you need flashplayer and Macs are not familiar with that :(

Serena meets her first seeded opponent in Ash Barty but should prevail. They've only played once before - on hards four years ago (Serena won convincingly).

OMG, someone Tweet to G. Garcia; "that is not a good look!" I'm spoiled from the old days when the WTA began it all; appearance was very important and designers brought in to dress the ladies! Ted Tinling in the forefront of it all with new materials, patterns, and sequins! I still smile thinking of his stories that went back to Suzanne L. in the 20's, but really laughed when he made Court out to be "hard to please!" According to him, "she thought she should be able to sprint, sweat, stretch, and fall all over the court, but still be able to straighten it all out nicely for the trophy presentation!" That's a paraphrase; it's been decades and he's been dead for years!

@10isfan You can try Photon or Puffin browsers for iphone or ipad that you can download from the app store. One of them has a free option to try out before purchasing to see if it plays your video.

Interested to see how Safarova does against Pliskova. The former is a FO finalist so it should be a close match.

Hey did anyone see Sharapova on the tv show Biillions.. She was beating up on another man (tv character Bobby Axelrod ).. This means since the steroids suspension she has come back to beat up on two men(RaFa and Bobby axe)..Next its gonna be Roger and Lebron on her list to dominate the male species.

Sania Mirza is becoming a mother in Oct. 2018. That explains her absence in the women's doubles and mixed doubles draw.
