Well everybody can have a letdown. My notification is as always: Highlightning the winner and the result - easiest ;)

I agree with your style of updating the previously posted schedule with the results.

But, have one question about that though. When you list the matches scheduled (before they are played), in what order do you list the names of the two players. Is it alphabetical based on last name, is it based on projected winner independent of seeding/ranking, is it based
on seeding, is it based on ranking or is it just cut and paste from the tourney's site and you don't decide the order?

It would be nice if there was some order there too.

Not much fuzz about that. If you look at the WTA homepage and click order of play you can see a spot to the right, where you can download a PDF issue of the order of play. Then I use a PDF editor to copy the text and put it into a txt document - make some editing and the names are written exsactly like in the pdf file. I use FOXIT reader.

What happened to Woz? She ran into a buzzsaw. Ebony Smooth is about to join the rest of the players in Rome. Down 2-6 1-4 to Pliskobot

SHe met a perfect clay player - actually the case so no chances for Caro - ROme here sshe comes. If Kiki continues like today she'll end up with a good result - remember Kiki outplayed Goerges in the Charleston final.

@Hoergren I do remember that. Kiki, Siegemund and Kasatkina are what I like to call dirt ballers and shot callers. :D

Sharapova vs. Bertens will be epic. But if Kiki doesn't serve well she will be joining the rest of the tour in Rome. The other picks would be CSN, Simona & Kasatkina

Bit of a strange schedule - one semi has 5 hours longer rest after the match - how come the players won't get the same conditions - 1 match on Manolo and 1 match at Aranxa at the same time would've been fair

And Kiki destroyed another opponent Caroline Garcia 62 62 in very impressive style - so not bad to have lost to the coming champion.

Fantastic week for Kiki B. One more to go! Clay is such a good surface for her and Madrid suits her even better with her serve and agressive play.
