Let's just say that Ben is an acquired taste..he is someone you will learn to like over time.

I get what you mean. The high voice is weird, too.

Do you like Fils?
He is not in your face like Ben,and that attitude can rub his opponents the wrong way .His parents or agent should have a sit down with him before he becomes very unpopular in the locker room.

Tossip,

Are you going to the Laver Cup, I was looking at the ticket prices, they are expensive

I m a bit surprised there is no Hawkeye Live there. Laver Cup usually spares no expense

Well done Ben 76(4) 61 over Fils!,
Ben showed no nerves at all in his first appearance at LC, explosive hitting by both players. Fun match!

Cerundolo v. Foki seems tricky, now that I can pay attention.

Good start for Team World...apparently their first lead.

Monfils v. FAA is potentially fascinating. Monfils is trending, late-career, and Felix is in a slump. Gael won their only previous meeting. Canadian crowd will back Felix, but Monfils is a crowd-pleaser, and they may have trouble resisting him.

Just tuned in and Monf is down 6-4 3-0 and Team World leads 2-0 after winning their first two matches. Team Red is looking for a sweep if Felix can win the next three games

Rublev blew his break lead in the 2nd set, and Fritz wins for World in straights. Might be time for Borg to offer a little coaching.

The energy in Vancouver is just blah blah,I think Montreal would have been a better venue. Its more fun in Montreal than Vancouver, and the fans know their tennis.

Vancouver is a great town, and they don't have a big annual tournament like Montreal does. I think it was a great choice.

As I said before, after such a huge Inaugural/creation of the event w/ Borg, McEnroe, & Fedalovic, it stands to reason Laver Cup would be a disappointment after those first few years w/ excellence personified on exhibition! The players this go round just can't excite us! Our players from the USA rode a heater for a year or 2, but they can't compete internationally like the Euros! I have this feeling of allowing The World to get a lead only to crash & burn on day 2 & 3! It's a joke IMO! They overdid the sendoff of Roger last year and nothing will come close to that level of enthusiasm & overall emotion! :face-with-head-bandage: :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :astonished-face:  :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Well.. someone had to hype the low energy fans.Vancouver is like Beijing or Mumbai.
