Roger tomorrow will be more fresh than a lettuce, Thiem won't so fresh but he is younger, let's go Thiem! :good:

That Grass win was when Roger was coming after a long break. Would not read much into that.
Listen, Roger may be 65 and not played tennis for 20 years, I would still expect him to beat Thiem on grass ! :) Thiem has a back swing that takes 30 seconds to wind up ! Roger eat those kind of guys alive on grass.

Um, except Thiem did beat him on grass, when Roger was not 65 and with only a few months' lay off, so you could give some credit there.

If you read my first post, I said Thiem has a legit shot tomorrow because he even beat Roger on grass once, where it should never have happened. That is credit alright.

That's cool, but I replied to a rather outrageous claim.

Thiem lost a few fans when he couldn’t push Nadal at FO.
Is that really shameful, since Rafa has won it 11 times? Did it put people off Stan, or Roger, or Novak?

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" lol
Are you taking about yourself? for your information Federer has not done anything to be my enemy but if you are expecting that everybody around here wants a win by him you are completely wrong, I like Thiem and it's about time that he wins a MS, it will give him more confidence to play on HC where I think he does pretty well but he needs a win and I hope he will if he plays like today

Huh? Since when Thiem needs encouragement in Spanish? From what I know he speaks Austrian German & English and the former is is personal tennis language because his coach Gunter is also Austrian.
I think "Vamos" has become a generalized encouragement in tennis.

It was a translation from Carol's post. However, I hope Roger takes care of business.

It's a bit confusing from you, though. So you do hope Roger wins? Just working on your translation skills? :D

I wasn’t bothered. Just having fun with you Rafa fans, on Thiem’s side. I can see you didn’t fall for it. :)
