I’m so impressed that Coco was down 5-1, and fought like crazy to get back into the set, and wound up winning it. I‘m glad she didn’t let the set go, and try to restart in the second. That was the embodiment of her coach Brad Gilbert’s “winning ugly.”

weather is too hot there, not the ideal climate to be playing tennis. That's why we're getting topsy-turvey tennis by both players. Why didnt they close the roof. Imagine if it was you that paid 1000's of dollars and you witnessed this standard of tennis! Ticketmaster deserves to be better scrutinesed on how they came to rising their costs for this year AO.

If this match doesn't stop being ugly, I might have to switch to an episode of "Succession," which I think is vile and horrible, but might be better than this.

No it is a outside tournament they can only close the roof if it is raining.

Not just rain:

Roofs on Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena and Melbourne Arena can be closed in the event of rain or the Extreme Heat Policy being invoked prior to the scheduled start of play. If play commences with a roof closed, it will remain closed for the entire match.”
