They’ve never played each other.

I don't really see Tommy getting a set, but good on him if he does.

1.5 days, and no one has posted the expected “why is this even a question?” comment. Progress! :flexed-biceps:

Djokovic still has that patented smash, early doors.

Djokovic up 4-1, yet barking aggressively at his box.

Tommy fought hard for that set, but Djokovic still pulled it off. Will it be a fight going forward, or a rout?

I just woke up to let the pups out to see Tommy came back from nowhere in the first set. Gutsy kid. No matter the score he will battle.

There's no way this looks like it should have been a 5-0 set, but it is.

I'm starting to think that Novak CAN actually beat most of the field on one leg. He looks a mess, and he's up 2 sets to love. And Paul isn't playing poorly!

I think that sounds about right Moxie. Good for Novak he decided to spray errors in a SF against a guy he knew he can easily beat. Should come looking sharp from the beginning in the final.

Just finished watching the high lights of this match,

The start of the match was key for Tommy Paul, as Novak was tight, missed opportunity for him. As usual Novak turned the key!

This seems slightly optimistic, if you're saying that now he's gotten the UFEs "out of his system." I don't know that it works that way.

Boring personal anecdote: for some reason, I always thought Dream On was by Led Zeppelin until a few years ago. Probably the only Arrowsmith song I really like.
You're fired! Though this is probably my favorite Aerosmith song. (However, check out their cover of "I am the Walrus" from the Grammys.)

I even spelled it wrong! TBH, I'm not a huge fan of rock in general...I always enjoyed more "alternative" stuff like Pink Floyd and King Crimson, with bits and pieces of classic rock mixed in.

I didn't want to point that out because I've been in trouble before for being the spelling police. :face-with-tears-of-joy: Personally, that's all Classic rock to me, having grown up on it, and I like what, to me, is the best/my faves of all genres. I don't think there's anything I completely eschew...I'm not much into the syrupy pop stuff, but there's always something that will catch my ear, even there.

I know we've taken over this thread, but hey, that match is over, anyway. To put it musically, the fat lady already sang.
