Danniellle Collins pulled the biggest upset defeating Ash Barty No 1 seed and defending champion 63 64.and making the q/finals where she will play Iga Swiatek.( Barty has withdrawn from WTA 500 Doha with a left leg injury, she was subdued in her match against Collins,Ash first picked up this injury during the AO).

Fierce battle going on right now between Collins and Swiatek - great battle of defence - what a backhand she has Swiatek

Collins withdrew after a medical timeout and behind 0-3 in second set - she had no weapons good enough today against the powerhouse Swiatek. One match remaining so keep watching if you're watching at all ;)

Bencic the last quarterfinalist - but Sanders can be proud of her resistance - she made Bencic work hard for the victory

Swiatek first player in her FIRST WTA final - think about that - well found out she has been in a WTA final in Palermo - think it was 2019 - sorry. Maybe a final against another teen. When did that happen last time - think we have to go back to Charlston in 2017 where another powerhouse Ostapenko won against Kasatkina - could be fun to watch her against CoCo. IGotyA - get it ;)

And Bencic managed to get through but kudos to Coco for great fight but she was tired in the end - she'll get her time.
