Carolina Garcia who was retiring at RG this year has come on social media and said she will be playing in the hard court season, one final push?
I know she is preparing for her wedding which is later in the year

Eala defeated Gracheva 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 to reach the final at Eastbourne, and much more importantly, prove that the Miami run was no fluke.

She will face Maya Joint in the final. Two of the game's budding young stars.

Well done to Jess Pegula winning Bad Homburg singles title, defeating Swiatek 64 75, didnt drop a set all tournament, a confidence booster going into Wimbledon!
I am adding Jess Pegula to my list of ladies that could surprise and win Wimbledon, she has the game for grass, the faster surfaces suits her game, it is just the mental game she lacks at times
This was Jess's 2nd tour title on grass

Maya Joint defeated Alex Eala 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (10) to win the Eastbourne title. Women's tennis is in very good hands with these two plus Mirra Andreeva.

Eala needs to get a better serve, I have said that many times, until she does she wont be winning any big titles
Eala was up 6-2 in the TB and should have won it? a lesson learnt hopefully
