So did he injure himself during that 3 day Vegas stint at AA's house

I have been saying this for a long time, Rune to me dosent spend enough time strength training, for such a young player, his body breaks down, MTO, widhrawals etc, he has a new trainer Marco Panichi coming on board at Cincy a very respected ATP trainer, was with Novak for 7 years and a short time with Sinner, hopefully he can improve his fitness and strength
Apaarently his back 'locked in' at practice, yesterday, bad timing and had to withdraw

Musetti is way overdue for a title. Hard to believe that he's hasn't won a title since 2022, considering his world ranking of #7. This is a golden opportunity for him to end the drought. 3 Italians already have multiple titles on the 2025 season (Sinner, Cobolli, and Darderi).

Unfortunately Musetti went down to the British jerk, Cam Norrie! Always something going on w/ him in matches! I still can't get over him hitting Novak w/ the ball w/ his back turned a couple years ago! The heat must be oppresive! I know it is here in Chgo.! :fearful-face::angry-face::astonished-face::anxious-face-with-sweat:

If anyone thinks that Lorenzo Musetti can win a 2nd Tier Masters title think again
He was in control of the match over Norrie and then 'went off with the fairies" at the ATP500 Washington
He was serving at 38% in the 2nd set and DF and went Flat he let Cam back into the match which he won 62
Musetti had BP chances in the 3rd set but could not convert, Cam then got BPs and won the match 63 in the 3rd set

Yeah, I saw the first and 3rd sets of that, so thanks for explaining the 2nd. He looked very good in the first set, like he was heading for the win. SMH.

Oh, that's why you don't like Norrie. I never heard of this, so I googled it. What this video. Norrie was spotting the ball for a smash and couldn't have seen that Novak had turned away. It's Novak's fault for giving up on the point in disgust.

Just watching Vee and Hilary in their doubles match, some excellent shot making from both ladies and Vee hit a 190km/h first serve,
Vee and Hilary win the 1st set 63 over Bouchard/Nhgounoue
Venus still packs out a stadium, seeing she hasnt played tennis in over 1 year.
Easy win for Vee and Hilary 63 61!
Speaking of packing a stadium. Yesterday they had Opelka on the main court and gurl that thing was empty. When they zoomed in on the outer courts, both were packed with doubs matches: Vee/Hailey & Monf/Nicky
Today, the same thing happened. They put Kenin/Hailey on main court. It was empty. On an outer court, they had Monf playing his singles match and it was packed. Poor D.C. tourney needs some lessons on how to schedule superstars for max benefit

Another reason why a mini mid-season break between the FO and Wimbledon could help. It's way too hot and humid to be playing North America swing events in late July/early August. It's downright dangerous and borderline life-threatening. Playing these events a month later would definitely help put the NA swing events and the US Open in more comfortable playing conditions.

Novak's no fan either! He goes out of his way to destroy Cam when they play; even Wimbl. grass & Roma clay! Just a pigeon he's never lost to! :)

Surprised he didn't say Chi. That's what most people call it, or the Windy.
Is it really windy there? And why? I love that old musical, Calamity Jane, and of course, there’s that great song that always leaves me singing it for days after..

Jannik Sinner has reappointed Umberto Ferrara as his fitness coach with immediate effect. The decision has been made in alignment with Jannik's management team as part of ongoing preparations for upcoming tournaments, including the Cincinnati Open and the US Open. Umberto has played an important role in Janniks development to date, and his return reflects a renewed focus on continuity and performance at the highest level.

He wasn’t one of the blokes resigned during the doping mishap?
