Coco from yesterday did NOT inspire confidence against a quite confident Sabalenka. Straight sets for the latter.

My heart wants Coco to win the whole tournament. I even picked her in my draw challenge.
My head, though, is telling me Sabalenka will beat Coco, given how poorly she played yesterday.

Coco is going to be a different player in the semis and back to playing as good as last year's US Open (which she won in style).

I want this to be a competitive SF hopefully the 'Mess of a Match' that Coco played in her QF will not appear in this SF or she will get routed
In saying that this title I feel is on Saba's racquet, she has been playing tennis the way I know she can.
Good luck ladies!

Everyone has been playing great except for Coco in the qtrs.I want to see great semis and competitive matches.I want Coco to beat Saba because she is trying to belittle Coco's abilities and just reducing her to just a runner as if she has superior talent when she only hits hard and harder except .

Coco has the ability to defeat Saba as we saw in the USO final, though she has to bring that game to the SF today
Saba's game is not always hit harder,, she has a powerful game off both wings off the ground, she has fine tools at the net, she has won GS doubles titles., and has a good transition to the net.

Heavy rain falling in Melbourne looks like we will have the SFs with the roof closed, it is 5.30pm local time, unless their is a big change in the weather

Coco is having trouble on her serve, the ball toss is not high enough
Gauff finally holds serve 2 all

Good service game from Saba and her ground game so far is very good
Pity the match is not the final it has all the ingredients of a GS final even in the early stages
