Sinner just is not up to the level of Novak I guess, but really only two players ever have been. I am working and can't watch but there you go.

Sinner will go down in routine straights and get a pass for not having what it takes. Seen it so often before, I’m just wondering which commentators will utter the timeless lie they all recite after a match like this:

“Surely we’re looking at a future Wimbledon champion, just today he came up against etc..”

You’re not missing a thing, brother. I’d rather not be watching it at this point.

You know, I think I have said this before perhaps a couple years ago, but Novak, Roger and Rafael were and are just simply better than these other players. And they play the court between the ears better than these youngsters do. They can grind longer, hit more winners, do what needs to be done--they are just better, and 65 majors between then in twenty years shows you how.

I still have it on, but I have pretty much quit watching. I have to go out, and won't wait for this one to be over. Want to get back in time for the next one, which I hope will be much better. Frankly, the chair umpire was more competitive in this match than Sinner Sinner Chicken Dinner has been.

Actually Sinner put up a better fight last year against Novak in their QF match at Wimbledon, I am watching this match in bed, I do have a TV set in my bedroom, Sinner did win 2 sets before you know what happened:)

Carlitos is the one I am pulling for. I hope he bests the big lanky Russian and then obliterates the Serbian Slayer!

Djokovic goose-stepping on the changeover. That was weird.

Okay Novak will serve now to force a TB in the set, unless Jannik can break and actually win a set off him :)

Stats. Sinner 0/6 in BPs stands out.
