Will Ons Jabeur get redemption after falling short in the Wimbledon final one year ago, or will she suffer a letdown after beating Rybakina and Sabalenka in back-to-back days?

Ons Jabeur (6) vs Marketa Vondrousova first unseeded player to reach the Wimbledon final in the Open Era

Both Jabeur and Vondrousova are crafty, intelligent players who have been to this state of a Grand Slam, who will have the advantage when they meet in Satruday's final.

Ons Jabeur since 2021 has won 28 matches on grass. Jabeur solid on BPs, Jabeur has won 80% oh her first serves, better than any of the semi finalists, including Sabalenka (75%) amd matching Rybakina.
Hopefuly Jabeur, The Minister of Happiness will learn a lot from not only Wimbledon's final in (2022) but also US Open final. Maybe she will get it right the third time

Marketa Vondrousova, the most impressive stat for Marketa is, noone is returning first serves better than the left handed Marketa, which could be a very critical in this match up and could determine the winner.
Marketa disarms power and can neutralize rallies, what she lacks in power, she makes up for with patience, anticipation, her drop shots and lobs at times can make her opponents look slow. Marketa is playing with house money and the confidence of being underfeated against Jabeur this year.
A win would make her the first player to beat Jabeur three times in a single season.

Both ladies played well to get to the final! Modern day tricksters are underrated and underestimated on the grass. Good luck to both players!

Posters will be happy to know that Marketa's husband has found ' a cat sitter' so he will be able to fly to London to watch her in the final

Marketa's coach said if she wins the title he will get a 'tatoo" in celebration of her win.

So Stubbsie just explained that they didn't close the roof because of the wind. They expect rain later and apparently they can't close the roof if the wind is above a certain speed so they closed it ahead of time
