I went with Jess. Regardless of the outcome, we are guaranteed at least one American in the SF

Brady and Pegula have played each other once before,2020 Western and Southern Open,Pegula won 76(5) 64.
I have been impressed with both ladies and they deserve their q/final spot.,also they are best friends
I am leaning towards Pegula in a close contest.

Great shotmaking from Pegula and has had a early break and consolidated 4-2
I feel Jen is over hitting at present,maybe a bit of nerves,she needs to settle and is not able to play her game thanks to her friend Pegula.
Pegula with a DF and we are back on serve 4 games all.
There is That Dress Again,.....Jen Brady must of stole it from Iga......
Trading DFs...Jen hits one and Pegula will serve for the 1st set 5-4

Trading breaks early in the 2nd set, back on serve
Pegula to serve 3-2.Another break for Brady and she consolidates,leads 5-2
Brady wins the 2nd set 62....more controlled display and less UFE especially off the fhand wing

We are going to a decideder.....which I also thought would go 3 sets.

Impressed with the way Jess has been on the return of Brady,especially on the 2nd serve
For the fourth time today Jen has been broken
Another break of serve and Brady now leads 3-1...consolidates the break leads 4-1
Jess game is unfolding she cannot seem to hold serve,it has been physical game,to me she is also mentally fatiqued,some of her shot selections have been questionable.

Brady will serve for the match 5-1....since the 2nd set she really has turned it around....she found her self belief and self confidence

Brady d Pegula 46 62 61 her great run continues to make the s/final where she will play Muchova.

Well done to Pugula who has never been past a 3rd of a GS to make the q/final here at the AO....takes the positives and build on it in 2021.

I picked this match to go 3 sets and again I chose the wrong player..........LOL!
Hopefully in the s/finals my percentages will pick up.
