France is the first team to advance to the 2015 Davis Cup QFs!

The Bryans take the first set and lead in the 2nd.

I am actually pumped to watch Milos-Kei tomorrow. Either way so much will be on the line and it is my favorite rivalry of the newer generation. I do not remember a match that was not tight between these two.

Serbia has qualified also. Novak teamed up with Zimjonic and won the doubles in 3 straight sets.

Couldn't believe what Ward managed yesterday!

Looks like Jamie and Inglot have ideas about doing the same against the Bryans here...

USA have to be concerned if they go down to our miserable lot in three rubbers!

I see something odd on the DC net page, in regards to France team.
Their line up shows: Simon, Monfils, Mahut and Benneteau, however, when checking the result in the doubles match, it shows that the team was composed by: Mahut and Heidel-Schuler ?? How is this possible? Once the 4 guys are nominated there should not be any more replacements allowed.

Bit of a shock result, though credit to the doubles Czech team of Vesley/Paylasek,who to me was the man of the match, also the first time representing Czech in a DC tie,Czech won in 5 sets over the doubles team of Hewit and Groth 16 76(2) 36 76(4) 62

Reversed singles tomorrow

Tomic v Rosol, Kokkinakis v Vesley.

Well, there is the chest bump from the bros. Kudos to them and the Brits as well for making this an actual match.

why is jim courier the captain ?, he just sits around hardly moving or talking to the players,

why is he there if he is just going to be a potted plant ?. (no offence).

Simon finally won a DC match...happy for France, Germany is a difficult opponent

I still:nono:dodgy: can't understand why French captain Arnaud Clement
didn't have Simon on the team or selected to play against Fed in the final.

DF by Japan to give the break away. Popsicle will serve for the match.

Japan fought well. Until the last three games that is. They must have tightened up tighter than Cher's face because they lost the last 10 points or so to go down 6-3 in the third.

Japan played well, but it is impossible to beat the 76 year old Nestor...
