Tommy Paul has great hands, not a lot of people give him credit in that area, he just did a wonderful cross fhand flick pass, for a winner.

Fonseca playing out of his 'mind' so far in this 1st set, Fonseca seems to added more weight to his bhand as well.
Wonderful 1st set from Fonseca 62, only blip he had enough BPs to make it a bagel set :) he was 2/8 on BPs
Fonseca called the physio and leaves the court for an assessment, I didnt see that coming, MTO called
Fonseca looks okay as he returns to the court and will serve first in the 2nd set

OMG, Menšík went down to ADF! I give these kids too much credit! I keep thinking someone's bound to break thru, but every time they take 2 steps forward, they fall back at least one! Draper, Perricard, Musetti, & Menšík can impress & disappoint in the same tournament! :astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::fearful-face::yawningface:

Mensik has had ankle problems from his first round match, so I wasnt surprised that Foki won their match in 3 sets also Foki had a commanding H2H 4-1 before their match, he has now extended it to 5-1!

FAA v Fils is an interesting one.
Fils first tournament back from his back injury was in Montpellier in February, where he made the QFs and lost to FAA, since then he has made steady progress making the final in Qatar a ATP500, even though he lost the final easily to Alcaraz, he played well to make the final, now he has made the round of 16 in a Masters 1000, in 2 months since his return from injury, indicates to me he has retained his strong recovery and good competitiveness, should be a good contest between himself and FAA in IW.

I do think it's fair to say that Novak got a bit of a let off at the end v. Kovacevic. His arm was bothering him a lot, and Kovasevic was playing well. Got broken at the last minute, or Novak would have had to play on. Not sure what goes on with the arm.

Novak is playing doubles later with Stef? I wonder if they will withdraw, if his arm is still bothering him? they are playing the 3rd seeds Arevalo/Pavic.
BTW,
The sleeve is part of the newly launched signature line Novak x Indrediwear, there were no reports that he had a injury maybe a preventative measure, maybe he is just promoting his newly launched signature line :)

I could swear I read an article that Novak was playing doubles w/ Sinner in IW's; then Tsitsipas in Miami! WTF happened? They might WD!
