That's to be expected when you embarrass the girl at Wimby and don't let her win a game. I'm not saying she should throw the match, but you wouldn't like it if you couldn't post a single game on the board in a major final. Like I said before, she needs to be careful handing out bakery products. Nobody signs up to play a match like that. She's getting her comeuppance and I for one am glad to see it.
Amanda has a great game on the fast court, it suits her to a tee, she suffocated Iga on the baseline today, even when she was broken she kept her nerve, stayed calm and broke back
A great striker of the ball, and one of the best bhands in the womens game

She literally has all the shots. She was just missing the intangibles. Well losing that Wimby final the way she did has given her mojo in spades. I hope she goes all the way. She can beat the remaining 3 players and hope she does.

I have always had a soft spot for Amanda, she has battled her mental demons, also after the early death of her father, who was her coach, has come back playing the great tennis she is capable of, hopefully she can go all the way.

I had an early disappointment watching one of my faves play at Wimbledon back in 1975! Evonne Goolagong had had quite a battle w/ Margaret Court in the SF; both playing ugly tennis! Evonne got thru, but had to go up against her nemesis, BLK in the final! She got smoked 6-0, 6-1, The Aussie was unable to win a game until the 11th getting a "Bronx Cheer" from the crowd! Billie retired from Singles after winning her 6th title, got inducted into the HOF, then decided to come back in Singles making 2 more Wimbledon SF's in '82 & '83! :astonished-face::angry-face::yawningface::fearful-face:

Muchova going off court for a MTO she had one inher match the other day
Osaka wins the 1st set 64
I wont be able to watch the full match as I have to get into the city for a dentist appointment
The good thing about Stans Sports is they replay all the matches, so when I get home I can watch the matches I missed

Naomi's outfits are awful. This getup looks like something oompa loompa would wear.

My wish if only Muchova could stay healthy in a tournament
Muchova has the game to dismantle Osaka, in saying that she has to be 100% fit to do so
Has Muchova got enough bandage on her left leg, though she seems to be moving okay

I'm thrilled for her! Osaka looked like the Osaka of old! She had pinpoint accuracy in her shots running Muchova to death! :coffin: WTF, did Naomi put on a wig for the interview w/ ESPN? Ridiculous; I turned it off! That's one thing I can do w/o; listening to her speak! She obviously spent too much time in California! She sounds like a sedated "Valley Girl" & it just irritates TF out of me!:fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::astonished-face:

Redemption from Amanda winning 64 63 and she has earned a place in the SF
Anisimova d Swiatek 64 63
Well done Amanda!
Amanda will play the winner of Muchova v Osaka in the SF
Amanda is now No 5 in the live rankings

Just found out !!!

For some reason i was expecting this to be a night match, never mind, I'll look at the highlights and match-stats !

Well now this is Happy news indeed !!!

I was sayin' the other day that I wanna see Amanda "do some damage" and win her national U S Open title in style but, to be honest, i would hate to pick a favourite between her and Naomi (who am also happy to see do well) right now!
