Caught replay of Gauff! No player's safe; esp. in the early Rds.! Today's players are fearless! Who TF is this Mboko? A W/C? I thought only the men could pull that off! No fan of Coco's, but it had to be hard playing this native Canadian where the crowd is so rowdy cheering their girl on!

The men cannot pull that off. By the time you get to the quarterfinals of a men's slam, all the players are seeded. No one even challenges Sinner anymore (the only time someone did, that player got injured).

There is a lot of parity in the women's game. Mboko is really good, though. Another potential great talent in the Coco generation, along with Eala, Joint, and Andreeva.

In a tightly contested match Keys d Muchova 46 63 75, late in the 3rd set Karolina did have her chances but could not convert, Keys was clutch serving for the match.

One in one side match Osaka d Sevastova ( remember she defeated defending champion Pegula in 3 sets) Osaka played first strike tennis with good control
In the first set Sevastova had 20 ufe and no winners?
Osaka d Sevastova 61 60 and now moves into the QFs at Monteral
This is Osaka's biggest QF since Doha 2024!
