He’s still doing that childish telephone thing. That’s boring already and it’s only been a while. But he did very well today, and I like his attitude. He’s aware of the fact that he has nothing to lose, and so he’s aggressively pursuing gain. It’s as it should be for him, that he’s now a hunter. Someday he’ll be hunted and we’ll know him better. That’ll be harder. We’ll know his level. Too early to gauge now. He’s got Sebastian Korda next. I think he’ll beat him..

Novak needs goals even if he doesn't bring them up! I was just thinking about that Triple GM's after winning Cinci for the 3rd time! I think it would be worthwhile going after another MC M1000, a 5th USO to be 1 up on Rafa, 1 more FO to go 4 CGS, a Wimbledon to match Roger's 8, & 3 more of his pet Major "down under" to finish off his career w/ 13 AO's! He'll be so far ahead of his rivals, even they'll have to give it up to the man w/ 30 Majors, 4 CGS, a triple GM, 400+ wks. @ #1, w/ 8 YE #1's! It w/b very realistic believe it or not!

If Novak wants some realistic goals..he should reach out to Rafa and come to Mallorca to the Nadal academy to help prepare Rafa for ultima temporada de tenis (final season of tennis)! That way he could show the world he is a true worlds greatest champion

The main skill Ben Shelton was missing before the USO was rally tolerance, noticeably better now at patient point construction. Can hold his own in 5 + shot rallies more often. The back hand is looking more solidified. Good win Ben over Jannik!

BTW if my memory is correct it was you that had a go at Novak at the USO, when he mimicked Bens phone celebration? you weren't the only one, Don Fabio also thought it was in bad taste, quite frankly I will take Ben's phone celebration any day over a player that smashes his racquet at will in a temper fit, or abuses his box when things go wrong in a tennis match.( I am sticking up for my Rising Youngster, btw Happy Birthday Ben)
