I did not see the match live.

But, I saw the complete match in encore presentation this morning (live to me as I did not know the result).

I liked the penultimate point.

I finally watched the final. What a great match! So much at stake for each. Very dramatic, as @britbox said. Best women's final in a while. Congratulations to Caroline and her fans. Most especially @Hoergren, who is her most steadfast and loyal fan. Terrific win.

I really want to see Halep win a major after this devastating loss. Hoping she moves on quickly, although I doubt she will.

ESPN showed a picture of her in the hospital bed. They stated they had her permission to show the picture on their broadcast.
