On 777score.com you can see records of all losing and win of each player in current and previous tournaments. So it's easy to guess who will be #1 this year.

Worth bumping this thread. Andy is now guaranteed to be #1 after Wimbledon, although Rafa can still take it if he has a strong hard court season, although it will be very hard if Andy wins Wimbledon and also has a strong second half.

As far as year-end #1 goes, here are the current (through the 4R) points:

1. Rafa 7095
2. Roger 4905
3. Thiem 3345
4. Stan 3150
5. Zverev 2710
6. Novak 2405
7. Andy 2290
8. Cilic 2065
9. Dimitrov 1925
10. Goffin 1820

Rafa still has over 2000 point lead, although if Roger wins Wimbledon he's up to 6545, closing the gap to 550 points - giving him a good chance of passing Rafa in a part of the year that he generally plays better. If Andy wins, he's at 3930, if Novak wins 4225...so both would be gaining ground, but still far behind. Right now it really seems to be between Roger and Rafa.

With Rafael Nadal out of the tournament, the No. 1 ranking will belong to Andy Murray or Novak Djokovic when Wimbledon ends. Murray needs to reach the final or have someone other than Djokovic win the title. Djokovic needs to win the title and play someone other than Murray in the final

Actually, Andy only has to win his next match, the QF vs Querrey. He's at 7750 points and will be at 8110 if he wins. Novak's max for this tournament is 7965.

With the loss of both Novak and Andy, it is now confirmed that Andy will be #1 and Rafa will be #2 at the end of Wimbledon independent of what happens in the remaining matches.

Fed will be #3 if he wins Wimbledon, #6 if Cilic wins Wimbledon and #5 in all other situations, at the end of Wimbledon.

Since Wimbledon has ended, time to bump this thread.

It is safe to say that Federer or Nadal will finish number 1 this season especially now that Djokovic and Murray are considering shutting down their season.

I made this point on another thread, but Rafa is w/in 315 points of Murray, in the weekly revolving points. Given that we believe that neither Andy nor Nole will play Rogers Cup, if Rafa does, and gets to the SFs, he'll take over the #1 spot. If Fed plays Canada, and Rafa doesn't get through 2 rounds, and Roger wins the title, Fed could take over the #1 slot. There could be a lot at stake in Canada this year. :)
