Yes, Roger lost to THIS guy in easy straights. That's how bad he sucks.

Rafa is pissed at Tommy for beating Roger...He had his  set on playing against him in NYC

Tommy was playing better than this... much better than this. Tonight, every time he goes to pull the trigger he either nets it or hits it out.

This is hard to watch.

Tommy is tight.. He has had to endure the wrath of the Fedfans since Monday.. that aint easy to deal with plus Cali pre written degrading Rafa posts that will be coming before the final winner is struck.

He isn't playin much worse than he did Monday, he just isn't getting away with junkballs against someone who can actually hit an aggressive forehand over the net

The good news for Robredo, if you can call it that, is that the worse has already happened. Now he can maybe relax for the second set, loosen up, and play his game. If he does, I think it gets less embarrassing.

One of those commentators said earlier this week that it's something pyscholgical with the Spanish players when they play against Rafa...some truth to this perhaps.

Was the '08 RG final the last time Rafa won a GS set 6-0? I can't remember another off-hand.

The match-up is different too. Nadal is hitting a much more aggressive ball than Roger did, and is actually moving the old man around. Too much ferocity. But yeah, it's obvious that Tommy isn't feeling it.

I'm beginning to wish Rafa would let him win a game. Just one game. But I know he wouldn't do that.

I have had a chance to eat some tasty NY bagels this past week...off the court;)...I feel sorry for Robredo though...There is nowhere to hide...:puzzled

Into the net or out every time he pulls the trigger. :( Tommy could well be eating three of them, dry and without any toppings to make them taste better.
