Why should the player is is perfectly healthy sit around in the dark when the stoppage of play has nothing to do with them. Play is continuous and if there is a delay, everyone should know why. I absolutely hate when the tv commentators guess...last night they kept insisting Tsonga was sick with no corroborating evidence. Maybe he just sucked and Benny Tu took advantage.

But it is his business brother...he is playing against him. Points, money, everything at stake. Forget about the Nadal issue, in general, wouldn't you like to know why your opponent is leaving the court? At least have a basic idea? I would. I mean , don't tell me if he is going for a number 1 or number 2 , but just tell me it is a washroom break man...:snigger

Crazy how good drugs are these days that Stallone has more definition at almost 70 years of age than he did in the first Rocky film over 38 years ago.

Stallone at the time was basically broke and by some stroke of luck got the studio to invest in his story and allow him to star in it. Rocky2 - Rocky4 with more money and probably much better dietitians and fitness trainers than himself his physique continued to improve.

Great story. I remember being a child when Rockymania was in full bloom. The movies had a big impact on American culture.

^ Don't forget his physique improved dramatically by way of growth hormone and roids as well as nutritional improvements lol. He's admitted taking HGH and testosterone (not that it wasn't obvious anyway!) for Rocky and Rambo but it's not like the drugs do everything. He trains really hard and even guys taking bucket loads of stuff don't look as good as he does in most cases so I can only commend him on that. Would like to know what it feels like to be full of all the cocktails of juice he takes but I never would go down that route personally. He's lucky his health is still ok so he must have some pretty damn good doctors.

Oldie but a goodie!! It really did influence a lot of people. I knew tons of guys who started eating raw eggs and running in that grey gym outfit. I believe Hewitt's favorite movie is Rocky.

What an ironic development. Stan develops a back problem....although Anderson was was on all out nuclear assault mode.

Stupid Cackling Carillo was more concerned with his doubles match and wether he would quit then
the fight he showed.

A friend of mine brought me back to the locker room area where I talked with Magnus Norman. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet at the upper echelons of tennis. He was on his way out to scout Seppi/Querry.

There was chatter in the locker room about the draw and a Stan/Rafa rematch came up.

Norman told me Stan is VERY much looking forward to that prospect because he absolutely wants to prove to everybody the AO final was no one off, and that he has put the work in, and that the Nadal injury was a minor factor.

He also confirmed that Stan is a good 10 lbs lighter than last year.

I say that is a very commendable attitude. Most guys would be in NO rush to get another crack at Rafa.

Stan is getting the rematch. But, the only problem is that even if Stan wins, folks will argue that
Nadal injury is a major factor now.

How about we wait and see. If Nadal plays like $hit, then yeah, Nadal fans will point out that he's been playing like $hit (for some reason, it was OK to mention that after he lost to Murray. Probably because nobody here likes Murray). If he plays OK and loses then it's whatever.

But I don't see where this injury business is coming from. You're kinda making up that narrative.
