After the mains have been strung, the StringWeaver attaches to the mains in seconds. By rotating a lever, a passage is created through which a cross string may be woven and pulled with almost no friction. Rotating the lever in the opposite direction creates a passage for the next cross. The StringWeaver greatly reduces twisting, burning, and notching caused by friction as the crosses are pulled through the mains. The tool makes it far less likely to have a mis-woven cross.
