I am picking a Woznicacki win,I expect Peng to put up a really good fight in this match, could take one set over Caroline.

I just feel at this level of a Grand Slam,Caroline does have the edge.

Caroline to win in 3 sets

Caro in two. No time wasted here, but no bakery products either.

I usually don't vote in these things, but I'm thinking Woz in 3. I think Peng might come out excited, Woz hasn't played her a lot (if ever?) and might result in a break that allows a set. Then Woz will wear her down :)

Caro in deux, she is on a real role, like how her serve has increased in speed. She rarely had clocked in at over 100mph, but now she is reaching over 110 on occasion.

I think the cost of the better first reply is a weaker second reply which Serena snacked on in their most recent meetings.

I feel that Peng has turned a corner, she blew Radwanska off the court a player she has lost to several times.

I said Woz in 3 but could easily be 2. I'm really so pleasantly surprised by Woz's play this summer. I've always hoped she would make some adjustments in her game and reach the top of the game again.

Any theories on what has changed? Obviously theres some intangibles at work here--her breakup and marathon training namely. Any other factors? Something obviously seems different--hell she even pushed Serena to the brink!

Although Woz's dad is her coach, someone new was brought in to improve her game. The difference this time is that she and her dad are listening. She was not likely going to win a major without aggressive play so she is taking more risk, approaching the net, serving with more pace, etc.

I like this version of Woz. Just wish she would continue working on her forehand. If Peng is smart enough to attack that side, I think Peng will win.

By Now, Caro's team should have watched the replay of her 2011 Brussel's win, it was against Peng in Belgium.
Shaui gave Caro a run for the money, this was when Caro was actually on a down-turn.
I saw that match, Peng was seeded 8th and Caro was of course #1, at the time Peng was red-hot, making it all the way to the final, beating #2 seed Vera Z.

I have a feeling today will be a replay of that match. But this match being on hard courts gives Caro an extra advantage.

Pam doesn't work for CBS. She works for ESPN only. That's why. Mary Jo has a contract w/ CBS and ESPN.

I like Caro, but I don't think she'll win this match. Peng in 3.
