Ironically, I was on a zoom with a friend in Madrid, so I missed the end. I thought I had taped it, but not through the 3rd set. Happy that Alcaraz won, though. Kudos to Struff for making a match of it, from what I saw through the end of the 2nd.

I like this win by Carlos. Totally tricky match and he did well to recover and settle in the third. Tells us even more about him, and it’s good…
It was as you say a tricky match. Struff made him feel uncomfortable and showed some cracks in Alcaraz game, but he did well to adjust and Struff got tired a bit in the 3rd set, that helped. Still Alcaraz showed us why he is a true no. 1 player at the moment. He is not accepting the loss, he's looking for solutions, he is a fighter and it seems like he lives for these moments and enjoys to be pushed.
