Movies you hate but everyobody thinks are great

Nah I was responding to Kieran. He is not a fan of any of those movies. I think all 3 were great.

Then I stand corrected, Kieran needs to appreciate Michael Mann's and Ridley Scott's masterpieces.:clap

I thought Heat was just ridiculous macho mayhem, completely overblown and unrealistic, and Gladiator was plain silly. Not as bad as Heat, but really just a bland piece of Hollywood pop-history. There are great epic tales from the ancient world that they could have grabbed and filmed, instead of that half baked story.

Tales like Troy, and Alexander the Great.

I realize there's a huge division of opinion on Lost in translation but count me in the camp who thought it was a pile of fly infested horse dung.
