Congratulations to Hsieh Su-Wei/Barbora Strycova winning the womens doubles titles in Rome defeating Friedsam/Olaru 62 62,they did not lose a set all week.

Hsieh/Strycova so far in 2020,

Brisbane champions,AO finalist,Dubai champions,Dubai champions,Doha champions and Rome champions .21-1 so far in 2020.

Final on court Centrale - 2.30pm start.

S.Halep (1) vs K.Pliskova (2)

Halep leads Pliskova H2H 7-4,though they are 1-1 on clay.Halep winning RG s/finals 64 36 63 2017.Pliskova winning 2018 Madria q/finals 64 63.

I was called into work and just got home and read what happened.Sad that Pliskova had to retire especially in a final.,Halep has played some solid tennis all week at Rome,she will go into RG as a strong contender.
I'm glad she won it, but even if she hadn't won the title here, Simona still would have been a strong fave for RG. Her whole game comes together on the clay.
