If you had to transport these 5 players from the 90s to today, how do they fare?

OK, the following 5 players from the 1990s wandered into a tardis on the way to a hospitality tent and have been transported to 2016.

Who would succeed, who wouldn't and what might they change...

1. Pete Sampras
2. Andre Agassi
3. Boris Becker
4. Stefan Edberg
5. Sergi Bruguera

This may surprise a few people but I think Agassi might be the best represented in today's game without amendment.

I think Stefan (a personal fave) might struggle with that continental forehand grip and lack of power on that wing. Also S&V as an out and out tactic is a very tough ask in today's game.

Surely Sampras would still be a top 5 duelling it out with the best of them. Boris and Edberg would struggle more as it's a lot easier to hit passing shots with modern equipment on slowed down surfaces. Bruguera would have no place really, he can't hang with Nadal who's better than him in just about aspect; and he'd get mauled down everywhere else anyway. Agassi is a curious case but i think he'd have to move better in this era.

Pete's game wouldn't be as effective and he wouldn't be able to live at the net, but this is Pete and he was plenty deadly from the baseline. He'd still be great at Wimbledon and the USO in this era. Agassi wouldn't have to change a thing but as Ricardo mentioned his movement would hold him back more now than it did when he was playing. That and Djokovic is basically Agassi 2.0...maybe even 3.0 so there's that to deal with too. Becker and Edberg would be in serious trouble and Brugera would be just another good clay courter who had no chance vs. Nadal and would've lost most of the time to Roger and Nole as well.

Just been re-watching Sampras v Becker at the 96 Masters and it's easy to forget that Pete was decent from the back of the court. He was awesome in the match,
