That Garin dude is on fire though...
He dominated Shapovalov...he's the real deal. I think he's going to be a force on all surfaces but particularly on clay. Reminds me of Almagro but he's bigger stronger and has a nice net game and serve. As Paul Annacone said is buy stock in this guy he's only going to rise. Real talent.

"Pigeon" is kinda mean and disrespectful, don't ya think? The guy is playing the last few tournaments of his very terrific career. Anyway, Rafa can't play as poorly as he did today, or Ferrer will move on.
Ferrer is playing his last two tournaments the man has had a remarkable career. He will probably lose but the man was nobody's pigeon.

Just to the entire trio of Fedalovic! They lapped him up; esp. Nole who loves playing those Spanish backboards (Almagro, Ferrer, Verdasco)!

Wrong again. Novak has the worst record against Ferrer out of Federer, Nadal and himself.

Djokovic v Ferrer 16-5
Nadal v Ferrer 25-6
Federer v Ferrer 17-0

Ferrer himself said Federer was the toughest player he ever played against 'cos he never managed to beat him.

don't let the facts get in the way of your constant Nole-love! :lulz1: Ferrer has never beaten Roger, he's had his way with your boy several times. It's no big deal, and doesn't say anything at all about how good Fedalovic are as individuals. Just match up issues

He had bad form because Garin beat him down
Exactly.Munar will be a guy who will make a living on clay, he is the up and coming clay specialist.
Denis has never done anything yet on clay.

Even putting Ferrer in the same group with Almagro and Verdasco is disrespectful.
Ferrer was a fixture in the tip 10 for years, and he was top 5 for sometime as well.

Lol! And it's not like they play anything at all like each other. Verdasco is not some traditional dirtballer, he's more than that in terms of skill set, even if he's a flakey mofo. But I dismissed all of that because of the "Nole is the best ever" agenda that @Fiero425 always has

Is Struff defeating Tsitsipas good news or bad news for Ralph?

I think Ralph will win against Struff without much issues. Thiem may take out Rafa in SF though.

Yep, but fortunately he is playing better though far of his best level
Rafa has to step it up. In the past a 5 or 6 Rafa (out of 10) would still beat everyone on clay except the very best like Nole. But now, there are guys out there who will take him out if he is not 7 or 8. He has not been 7 or 8 so far on clay.

I'd have fancied his chances better against the young one-handed Greek. Struff is looking on-form, he's very tall and has a 2hbh. Rafa had better hurry up and find his form and his serve.

Thiem gets Pella tomorrow, so that's not a given, either. And the two Lucky Losers are into the quarter-finals: Jarry and Carballes Baena. Nishikori will likely take out PCB tomorrow, but Jarry v. Medvedev could be very interesting.
