Whew... Nishikori grabs the tie break. Had me worried there for a bit. The coverage over here in Japan is amazing. Everyone is ready for Nishikori to win a major. I can't even imagine the fallout if he loses here early. Has to be a lot of pressure on him.

I always loved Nico man...that backhand, the upper body strength, the underrated serve...Too bad he never got it together upstairs.

I'm sure he'll get there. If not this year, then next year. He has all the tools. He just needs to put it together for 7 matches. Last year he did it for 6 and ran out of gas. He's got to learn to pace himself so he's not gassed during the 2nd week of majors.
