Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but these days you are almost win huge money on betting opposite to my wishes. I wanted Federer to beat Zverev, Evans to beat Wawrinka, Ostapenko to beat davis, GGoerges to beat Konjuh and finally Konjuh to beat Davis. I am almost afraid to wish No1e to beat Murray.

Here is couple more interesting facts.

Konjuh is a name of a mountain, so it is like someone had surname K2 or Kilimanjaro.

Her coach is Goran Prpic who was in last Yugoslav Davis Cup team with Slobodan Zivojinovic (aka Giant killer) and then teenager Goran Ivanisevic. Prpic beat Edberg in 4-1 win over Sweden in Round 1 but then the country dissolved so they didn't play anymore.

Before the Auckland final a group of Maori performed Haka for the finalists. Don't miss if you can watch it because it was a really good one.
