God help me just read that Alcaraz said that Raducanu will be the 'Boss' in their mixed doubles match
Alcaraz has had a 'soft spot' for Emma over the last couple of years, so I guess he gets his wish to play mixed doubles with her

He has a soft spot until he finds out how lazy she is. They won't make the cut. From what I heard on TC, only 8 teams will make it

Jazz Paolini has finalist points to defend at Wimbledon this year and going by her defeat at the hands of LL Ons Jabeur today in Berlin 61 63, she will need to play much better she was outplayed in all departments, I realize this was Jazz's first match on grass, also this was Ons Jabeur's first Top 5 win in 2 years
Defending champion Jess Pegula defeated in 3 tight sets by Samonsova 67(8) 75 76(5) Samsonsova served 18 Aces and saved 2 MPs
Badosa d Navarro 76(2) 63
Sabalenka's match v Masarova suspended due to the court being slippery, Saba wanted to continue, Masarova did not. Sabalenka won the 1st set 62

Osaka has received a wild card into Bad Himburg, I guess she needs to grass match play, still I am not a fan of playing a tournament soo close to a major, players can pick up an injury

Pam Shriver is stepping down as one of Donna Vekic coaches, Pam has been a part of her coaching team since 2022
With the horrid bush fires, Shriver's family went through, she has decided to spend more family time, I dont blame her.

Petra Kvitova has announced today that 2025 will be her final season on tour, she expects the USO will be her final tournamennt
Personally I am not surprised, since coming back on tour Petra has really struggled to find any form she has received a wild card at Wimbledon this year, being a 2 time champion, which was expected.

I'm pretty sure if they don't make the cut they will get a wildcard. Rune and Anisimova is nr 9 at the moment, so if just one of the teams in front of them gets injured or something like that, they'll be in.

I read that Rune wasnt going to play as he was against the mixed doubles format at the USO?

I don't know about that. I think they're reserving the WC's for actual doubs team, not the celebrity pairings.

No the first 8 places is for the ones with the highest rankings and then there's 8 wildcards to the celebrity pairings.
These couples are the highest ranked at the moment: (From a danish newspaper so in danish - Rune and Anisimova has 22 kombined as nr. 9)
