I switched over to watch Tauson v Rybakina match which is suspended
Clara won the 1st set 76 (6) and has played with good offensive play in the 2nd set leading 4-2 before the rain came, Rybakina too many UFE and also brain dead in some of her shot selections
Play has resumed with Tauson leading 5-2 I know Hoegren will have a big smile on his face with the way Clara has been playing!
Tauson serving for the match 5-3
Tauson d Rybakina 76(6) 63 a well deserved win from Clara!

BTW With this loss from Rybakina she will drop to #13 in the best case scenario

Clara played well but as she said on Danish television "I must be the most lucky person in the world". Some of the balls in the tie--break she got returned were crazy....

and Rybakina continues to achieve nothing on Grand Slams.
Quite frankly I didnt expect Rybakina to do well on probably one of her best surfaces grass, her shot selections in todays match also her UFE count, was poor also after she had that TB 6-2 lead over Saba recently and lost,, her mental game is poor.Tauson played a well thought out match and deserved her win

If Saba and Iga go out before the final, we'll have a new slam champ. Let's see what happens. If Clara serves well, she has a chance against Iga. Mirra is playing very well after crashing out in the warmups. I could see a Clara/Mirra SF. That would be awesome.

At least it will give Tauson a chance to revenge the losses against her in their previous matches... They have met each other a lot this year...

Before this grass season Tauson had never won a match on grass, getting to the round of 16 at Wimbledon is a huge achievement on her part

Raining again at Wimbledon so no play on the outside courts
CC the match between Pavs v Kartal has begun 4 all 1st set
Really bad decision by the umpire with the electronic line system failing
The ball from Kartal was long and in that case the umpire can over rule, blind freddy could see it was long?
No the umpire made them replay the point a really bad decision from the umpire, if I was Pavs I would be furious she was robbed of 1 point and she would have been 5-4 uo?
Kartal was serving for the 1st set and broken
TB for the 1st set
Pavs wins the 1st set 76(3) Kudos to Pavs after the point was stolen from her, she kept her composure in the TB and played well!
Well done to Pavs d Kartal 76(3) 64 she was robbed of a point, by the blind umpire, instead she kept her composure and played well
BTW Pavs contracted Lyme Disease after the AO this year, and it is only now at Wimbledon she has felt like herself again.Kudos to Pavs!
Pavs will return to the Top 30 after Wimbledon

Apparently Elena Rybakina is still in touch with her former coach Stefano Vukov, who is serving a 1 year ban, she said in a statement she needs to talk to Stefano again after her dismal showing at Wimbledon and said " I need to talk to Stefano again to see where I go from here"
Rybakina can still have contact with Vukov via the phone,. Last time I read anything about him, he was going to appeal his 1 year ban, no more news on the front.

Players warming up again on the outside courts they must be going 'insane' trying to finish their matches!
