I thought Novak was playing tomorrow in Geneva, but he's not on the schedule.
It has Round of 16 Djokovic to play Fuscovics TBD tomorrow ?
I know he turned up late to the tournament? he could have asked for a extra day I mean he isnt getting any younger :)
There are 3 matches scheduled tomorrow are still in R32, another 2 are in the round of 16, so he wont play tomorrow the next day going by the playing schedule

why are all these good players featuring in Hamburg? Didn't Dangerous play enough matches the last 5 weeks? I don't understand this need to play right up to RG and then get to big dance and have zero petro in the tank

Agree, it is just 'Brainless', The Dangerous One has had enough time to get his clay legs ready, as for The Excuse Merchant aka Zverev, taking a WC he is just as "Brainless" as well

There are reasons why good players are playing Hamburg and Geneva this week, but there is zero reason for Cerúndolo to. He's played plenty of clay matches, and he's done well. He seems to forget that he has a chance to do well this RG. He's overplaying like a mid-50s ranked player.

Djokovic is playing Geneva because he's stunk up the clay season completely and is hoping to salvage his confidence with a win or two on clay before the French. Likewise, Zverev thinks he can gain some mojo on home turf ahead of the Major. For the rest of them, how many of them really think they'll make the 2nd week? Dangerous is only the real mystery.

We do have a hidden agenda wanting The Dangerous One to play on in Hamburg, he took out the Excuse Merchant in Madrid :) and has a H2H 3-0 against him,

Mrzz,
I know Joao will be playing at RG this year
Just read an update for his grass schedule this year,
ATP250 Stuggart 9/6/2025
ATP500 Halle 16/6/2025
ATP250 Eastbourne 23/6/2025
Wimbledon 30/6/2025
I am not certain if he will play all those pre tournaments before Wimbledon, probably depending on how he goes.

One thing that is easy to forget is that lower ranked players tend to play in a lot more events because they go out earlier. I mean, you have guys playing in 30 events who play fewer matches than the elites playing half as many tournaments.

Compare a journeyman like Cerundolo last year, to Sinner the #1:

Cerundolo: 65 matches in 30 events
Sinner: 79 matches in 15 events.

So Jannik played in 14 more matches despite playing in half the events.

Breaking News,
I had heard rumors now it is confirmed
Carlos Moyer be on Jannik Sinners coaching team next year, as Cahill will be retiring at the end of this year.I kinda hoped Cahill would have stayed on for another year apparently not going to happen
