Swiatek hasn’t been her winning self for a few months, and Pegula is trending. I’m going with Pegula in 3.

Jess in 3 sets, she has been going through her draw playing solid tennis at the USO

I am probably going to be the only one to do this, but Jess in straight sets. I think if it goes 3 sets that favors Iga so no 3 sets.

As much as I liked watching Swiatek at the French Open and Wimbledon, this was pretty damn disrespectful so I hope she loses.

This is the match I am looking forward to the most today. With Jess being the last American female player left my support will be going her way. I really think she does have the talent to get this done.

Hopefully! She may well be the only American left in the tournament for singles men and women.

Hopefully she wins too now!
I am cheering for the two Americans as long as they are still alive in the tournament. I would love to see both of them win it all. It isn't going to be easy, but it is possible.

^Same, along with Alcaraz and Garcia

I stopped rooting for her after obvious gamesmanship at this year’s AO in that SF match against Banshee lol

All good, only €10 lol. I only do small ones now. No huge bets anymore since Eurovision and RG final. It's a sure fire ticket to the poor house. Can only imagine how many loons lost hundreds or worse thousands thinking Kyrgios was a sure thing against Khachanov or even backing him to win the whole thing. Much better to look for the angle for better odds with small stakes. I won't be watching Sinner v Alcaraz as it starts 2am local time here and could be still going 3-4 hours later but the only bet I care about next is Pegula v Swiatek. Hoping Pegula wins but if she loses I hope it's close 'cos I've a + 5 game handicap to add to her game tally so 6-4 6-4 loss would be fine. 12 games for Swiatek, 8 for Pegula + the additional + 5 = 13 so bet wins. If not, again, it's only €10 but nice return of €53.83 if it wins 'cos the other 2 matches yesterday won. Just one example there. I'd much rather build things up slowly this way rather than lose a ton. For every 5 x €5 or 5 x €10 bet I also get a free one which is handy.
I think it will be close. Hell, I think she is gonna win.

Me too. Fingers crossed. Either is fine with me. Swiatek has been inconsistent since her post RG streak ended.

The main thing with Iga is putting pressure on her. If Jess can do that then she can be had. Jess cannot give Iga the chance to set up her shots.
