They reset them. That is if you dont't use them by the time it goes to 6-6 or 12-12 or 18-18, you lose them. You get 3 challenges for every 12 games

Pretty sure he hasn't used 6. I'm thinking they aren't getting extra challenges, because I can't think of 3 wrong calls by Muller either.
