50% or more chances of rain for each one of the next five days. Actually on Monday it is 90% chance and from there it decreases to 50% steadily to Friday. Players like Andy who take lot of time to get rid of silly opponents should be asked to pay rent given that court time is becoming a precious commodity in this year's RG.

Well despite the weather woes, it shouldn't have as nasty an effect on Djokovic as there is little in theory on his side of the draw that should overly test him where that isn't necessarily the case on the other side of the draw. Unless Crankyvic of Rome shows up, but Djokovic is too dialed in to let too much affect him at this point of the tournament.

If you had noticed, in the last match Novak was hurrying up to finish the match before they stop the play. On Monday, his match being second, I don't think he will have problems finishing it up/

Sometimes when you try to hurry things up, you can lose a set and they might stop the play also and then it could make it tricky the next day (not to mention any lingering effect on future days).

I noticed Djokovic rushing through to complete the match, but I also think he knew he could get away with it to an extent. I don't think he would exercise the same discretion against say Stan or Murray.

Actually, he played better (rushing), than he did all week. I'd almost suggest that he do that against Murray or Stan as he was rather clinical in his execution.

You are right about that. It might serve him better as it gives him less time to think about the situation at hand.

Yes and No. He did play better rushing. But, part of the reason why it worked is the opponent. I could see rushing working against Stan (as Novak will not be passive). I am not sure rushing will work against Murray.

Well, I guess we will see who is fittest of them all then and can complete back to back matches as it looks like that might be a reality.

The top half will be in a disadvantage now because they could potentially play four matches in six days unless of course they move the final on Monday.

There's a great chance that Tuesday will also be rained out because the weather forecast says that it will have a 90% chance of raining.

The weather situation is a disaster. Djokovic is now two days behind Murray and Wawrinka because of the rain. The rain and subsequent screwed up scheduling may well determine this year's winner now. At the very least, it will have a very prominent effect on recovery.

If it's a complete wash out tomorrow too, it really will be a disaster. Not even one roof-covered court to continue play for the men's side of the draw that is detrimentally behind.

Add to this fiasco, no roof on the horizon until at least 2020. :cover
