It's just ridiculous how much stuff Nadal brings back in his backhand corner.

Really good stuff from Novak. He is finding his way into Nadal's game.

You must have me mistaken w/ someone else Carol. I've never displayed dislike for any tennis player.

What a game, eh? Both of them are scrapping like mangy dogs, but that might be the crucial break. Nole held in a long game at 3-3 in the first, and broke in a long 3-3 game in the second. Bad game for Rafa though...

Rafa's defense is still amazing. The last game he won a couple of points he has no business winning. He is close.

I remember as a kid the commentators on the BBC used to go on and on about the 'magical seventh game' of a set. Sounded really stupid with hindsight, but here we have it.

So do they do the trophy ceremony immediately afterwards? ;)

And a dropper that Nadal does not manage to fetch for once.

Even though Nadal is fighting hard and playing OK, on crucial moments, he is still getting nervous thus missing routine shots.

I think the key for Nadal moving forward is how he handles those "crucial" moments. If he can overcome those moments, then I think it will be a great postive step moving forward.

Same here in the USA... and then you didn't hear about it much for a long time. Then just recently (over the past year or so), I heard Annacone mention it and others have picked up on it again. I think there is merit to that "7th" game.
