Serena's colors look good against the clay, but I love the flirty, flowery ones, personally.

I dont like the skirt on Serena's kit..it dips at the back?

Aga's dress should be burnt...she is too small to be covered in flowers

Vee's dress looks like someone threw a mass of different colours on it.

I like Caroline's the best, the colour combination looks good against the clay and it fits her well.

There is no corresponding thread in ATP and so I am posting it here. Federer's dress
today was horrible. Wearing a red color shorts on red clay is a bad idea. Hope he changes
it for next match.

I must say I have seen Federer in better colour choices...Nike to me,has really lost the plot lately

I would have created a thread in the ATP forum if I thought people cared. The reality is most of them over there don't. It's all about the x, y and z's. :)

Now that I've had time to see her play in it, Serena's USO dress did the exact same thing. In fact, this looks like that dress, just a different color scheme.

I know that. But, I think folks here care about the dresses of both women and men and so
I took the liberty to post it here.

Fine w/ me. I don't care. In fact you should add a pix of Fed's outfit to your post so others can see.

Several times over the past few years Nike has dressed Roger and/or Rafa in a shade of pink or red. I agree those colors look bad against the "red" clay, which is actually more like orange.

Put a guy in a pink shirt, and, believe me, they'll care. Somehow pink (and purple, too) offends their manhood. Completely goofy black socks, somehow, doesn't.

My "laundry" list:

* I love Venus's dress.

* I liked the Radwanska flowery dress more in theory than in practice.

* Love Maria's pink with orange accents.

* Nike is giving Grigor a "Brooklyn hipster" look, which works sometimes, and others not. But has anyone noticed that his brown shoes with the black socks almost looks like he's wearing street shoes to play tennis? I find that disconcerting.

* I love the little floppy grey and white skirt that Li and other girls are sporting.

* I'm totally in favor of Berdy's surfer dude shirt. He needs a little loosening up on court. Apparently he's got a sense of humor on twitter. Let's see if he can hang as loose as his shirt.

^ All I can say regarding Berdych's Hawaiian styled shirt is that H&M must be paying him a awful amount of money to wear such a shirt. My initial thought was.....where is his surf board?
I honestly cant decide which is worse.....going to Hawaii or looking like a Human Flag Pole with Stripes, that blue and white number he wore.

I loved Steve Trignor's reaction from TW.Com to his Hawaiian styled shirt,

"It's possibly that I could, with time, come to accept a Hawaiian - style shirt on a tennis court, even if it doesn't make sense in dank Paris. But I cannot also accept two, even more nonsensical, white stripes across the middle of it".

^ OK, I hadn't seen the horizontal stripes. Why spoil the effect? Either go for it, or don't. But it's hard to complain that the men's designers are trying to break them out of completely boring club wear. Sadly, they gave up on sleeveless shirts, because not even all the professionals can pull them off, not to mention the schlubs they're trying to sell them to. Men's styles have nothing on the inventiveness of women's, but the same is true, in general. I appreciate those who try.
