Ricky Gervais watching the proceedings.

JWT gets two more BPs. Great drop volley to save the first one. Saves the next with the serve. Back to deuce.

And out of nowhere, Murray gets 3 BPs and wins the set. This is how tennis is...if Tsonga could convert one if his BPs, he would be serving for the set right now...But onto the third set we go.

Sounds great for Andy. I'm not watching but it's sounds like it's a great match. JW seems to have found some form this event too, which is good...

Jo Willy is such a likeable fella, if Andy had a slam and another couple of titles to his name this year I may even be watching this as a neutral but as it is, this part of the year is too important for Murray's season and, arguably, career, so I can't accept a loss here....

Murray will win set 3 6-2 or 6-3. Tsonga's predictable as hell once he loses the 2nd set in matches like this. Probably go with Murray winning this set 6-3.

Maybe my 6-2 prediction was a safer bet! Either way 6-2 or 6-3 imo. Predictable Tsonga.

What a let off... Tsonga brings up another break point...

Jo breaks. Unforgivable from Andy to let Tsonga back into this, he did the same several times this year, led Raonic (Indian Wells) and Nadal (Rome) by a break in deciding sets, also had the lead over Novak in Miami in the second set. Seriously problematic trend emerging.

Tsonga gets the break with some positive play...Will there be more twists and turns in this one?

My internet connection has gone to crap today 'cos my isp are doing some annoying firmware update apparently but I come back and Tsonga's ahead again 5-3. Wasn't expecting that I must say.

And this is why Tsonga is only a 2nd tier player.

Tonga will feel like he should have won this in straights, after missing the bPs in the second when it was 4-4, Murray will kick himself for not building on the 3-0 lead in the third...

One weird match but Tsonga of the last 3-4 years would have lost this one, so some improvement there for the big guy. Congrats.

Absolutely horrendous, terrible loss after leading 3-0 in the decider, this isn't Nadal or Djokovic across the net either. Sickening, go and sort that head out Andy.

Hopefully Tsonga can go on and make the final or even win it.

I am fuming right now though, time to go out for some beers and forget about that.
