By the way, after this match, Nadal and Djokovic will hold ALL nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000. Currently right now, they equally have four Masters 1000 crowns. So, whoever wins this match will have five Masters 1000 crowns. That's pretty amazing!

In addition, if Nadal wins this match, he will join Chang, Agassi, and Federer to win all four North American Masters 1000 titles (IW, Miami, Canada, and Cincy). In addition, if Nadal wins this match, he would only need the Paris Masters 1000 to complete the Career Masters 1000 titles. Meanwhile, Djokovic just needs to win Cincy title to complete the Career Masters 1000 titles.

As for Djokovic, if he wins this match, he would tie Nadal's record of four consecutive Masters 1000 titles. Djokovic has won the last three Masters 1000 titles (Shanghai, Paris, and Indian Wells).

Also, I would like to add that if Djokovic wins this match, he would be in third place in total Masters 1000 titles behind Federer and Nadal.

Nadal can't beat Djokovic on hards without good serving unless the Serb is offering plenty of errors. Haven't been impressed by Nadal's serve at all, which means he'll be working overtime just to hold serve. Add to that Novak's retrieving ability and the slow nature of the surface, and Nadal won't be hitting through him consistently unless the weather conditions really alter the way the courts are playing (which I'm hoping for, and not just from a Nadal's fan perspective, but because it would provide better tennis).

Novak in 3.

I'm hoping this one is more competitive than their last two matches. Has Becker been advising Novak?

The ball was bouncing high on the Grandstand court last night. We asked Rafa about the conditions of the court, he said the court was playing very good

So Nole needs Cincy, Rafa needs Paris and Roger needs Rome?

Nole winning Cincy is the most likely scenario , no? In fact, I find it amazing that he has not won that one yet. Sure it is a bit faster than some other hard courts but still...that's his domain.

With the victory in IW (and that too over Fed), Novak has gained confidence that he
was lacking before since the beginning of the year. So, I think Novak will take this one.
Nadal would have had a chance if he was playing the Novak who was not sure of
himself and had Novak arrived here without a single title under his belt.

Also, as many already mentioned, this being slow hard courts, it will tend to
favor Novak. Finally, after the match against Milos, we know Nadal is beatable.

Novak in 3.

But, this will be a hard fought match. Just like in 2011. This will definitely go to
three sets. It will also possibly end in a tie-breaker in the 3rd set just like in 2011.

Doesn't Roger need Monte Carlo too??

Yes. And Nadal hasn't won this one either, tomorrow I give him a good chance though.

If we are going on current form, I would say Djokovic. Djokovic has been on point with pretty much everything. Nadal's serve has been a bit off.

0-4 in finals, 2 losses each to Fed and Murray. In fact I don't think he has taken a set in those finals.

Nole can play well on fast hard courts but he is much much stronger on slower courts.
