Stan has his best clay season this year, so i think he may be able to get his first set this time around.

Agreed, and I'm sure Stan knows it. He will throw whatever he has in his legs at it, but I hope Rafa is ready to go up the next notch, and make even that effort paltry. Rafa needs a decisive and confidence-building win tomorrow. No mucking about Rafa...please.

while i think Stan has a chance like a snowball in this, imagine this: Wawrinka beating Rafa with a 1hbh in Paris And going further in this slam than Roger. who knows, by the time they get to play Ecuador, the Swiss #1 might even be playing Davis Cup

Total domination continues as Stan still has not won a set against Nadal. It was not going to happen today anyways, the way Nadal stepped it up. He is moving great...Killer semi awaits. Congrats to Rafa.

I guess that 8-6 5th set was the nail in the coffin for Stan. Surely would've made the scoreline more respectable if he wasn't so wrecked after the match against Gasquet. Still, we get a great semi now. Hopefully it'll be great anyway. Last year's final was a poor enough match imo. Neither guy played well at all first 2 sets last year so I hope they start better right away this time round.
