So... how many times has the self-acclaimed GOAT been swept in a series now.. 2 times? 3? More?

Assuming they lose tonight it will be 4. Shaq has the record with 6. Kobe was swept three times in the playoffs and was there a hell of a lot less than LeBron. Jordan got swept twice in a row by the Celtics and was there a hell of a lot less than LeBron. Seems to happen to everyone except Curry so far but then again he’s missed the playoffs a shit ton as well which helps.

Any thoughts on Antman’s 4th qtr and entire game….the Twolves are by far the most interesting team left in the playoffs

For my money, when WImby went out.. the game turned into a 5 on 5 playground basketball game.. the first to make 11 shots wins the game.. It so much more enjoyable for someone like myself who grew up from age 10 to 19 playing on the playground.. nothing was more fun to go across town as a 13-14 year old playing against 16-21 years old opposing players .. that's how you gain the respect of being a city hooper..
Adam Silver has no real stones..just those big ole dumbo size elephant ears..Wimby isn’t gonna get suspended..that’s a bad precedent

I think it’s fine not to suspend him. It is actually pretty weird there is no fine though. Not that it matters much to these guys but may as well still give them a $50k fine for something like that.

If he hits Naz in the temple and given a concussion do you think he would have been suspended

Sure, if he hurt him bad he’d get a suspension. Just like if you drive drunk you are in bigger trouble if you crash into someone.

Donovan & Co crawl off the mat and level 2-2
Lakeshow gon fishin. Some questionable decisions by JJ at the end. But it's too late to question it now.

Considering the amount of playoffs he's played at (significantly more than any other all time great) and the fact that at least two of the sweeps that I can remember (Denver in 2023 and OKC now) have come when he was super old, it hasn't happened nearly enough to damage his legacy in any way. Now that I think about the ones I can remember off the top of my head, they've all come against vastly superior teams (Spurs in 2007, Warriors in 2018 after JR forgot the score, Denver in 2023 and now OKC). Not only that, but the first three teams have all won championships those years and OKC is most people's favorites.

his trying to injure Steph has made me loathe him. But then I see him on a podcast and his respect for Steph is next level. I've come to appreciate that wherever he goes he's a culture setter. Extremely valuable individual to have on a team. He's sort of a Draymond Green character. You hate him as a opposing player, but when he's on your team you love him

Exactly. When you look at the teams he was on vs. the teams that swept him it’s not exactly a surprise, aside from 2023 vs the Nuggets where they were clear underdogs but most figured it’d be somewhat competitive. The 2007 and 2018 Cavs were 20-win rosters at best that he dragged to the finals, and now as a vampire he managed to win a round with what again was probably a 20-win roster with Luka and Reaves out.

Especially not having Rudy in the game for the final play for the potential 3 point attempt..way too many turnovers at the end.. I think lebron was tired when he got the rebound in the backcourt and threw the lazy outlet pass. Too bad great game by the entire team except JJ as you mentioned at the end.

lol! This is the sort of LeBron loving hyperbole that drives me crazy. Are you really claiming that 2018 Cavs team was a 20 win team without LeBron? I'll grant you they would have done considerably less well that with LeBron, but that Eastern conference was trash. C'mon man :D

Oh absolutely bro! That was arguably worse than the 2007 and 2015 teams he dragged there. Take LeBron off that team and you have a very blond JR Smith as the best player on the Cavs. None of those guys played any defense aside from LeBron and none of them could create their own shot aside from LeBron and maybe the blondie. They would have easily been a bottom 3-5 team in the league that year. I hope you don’t think that was actually a playoff team, even in the East.

oh I didn't mean Mitchell is soft. The team as a whole is soft. And that's lead by the centres, both of them soft as a baby's bottom. My point about Spida is that his form has dipped since post - All Star.

On another note. Deandre Ayton man... he was shocking last night. Shocking! No post presence at all. Wasn't making any effort to get rebounds. I"m not a Lakers fan... at all! And I found myself getting irritated with him. If anyone gives him more than the mid-level for his next contract, they're FOOLS!!
Donavon Mitchell was absolutely brilliant last night.. He plays so much bigger than his size.. da Beard begin the game pretty hot and scoring aggressively .. Good win by the Cavs

I’m pulling for the Cavs here. I like Spida and it’d be a nice step for him to finally make a conference finals. And also to spite Detroit fans who act like their worthless football team is the cat’s meow after 2 decent seasons.

I expect either team will get bulldozed by the Knicks and I’m good with that, a long awaited trip back to the Finals for the Knicks.
