With Zverev withdrawing Jesper de Jong was the first reserve on the entry list, but he will now be directly entered based on his ranking. The wild card previously awarded to de Jong has now been given to Botic van de Zandschulp

Frustrating times for Jack Draper, who has been advised ' not to rush back into it' played one singles rubber for GBR in DC and now has pulled out of Rotterdam.

Dusan Lajovic, one of my favorite players on tour, suffered an unfortunate acident during Davis Cup on Chile. He collided with a glass door, causing relatively severe injuries to his head. Luckily he already left the hospital, with stiches, teeth not exactly in place and face muscles injured.

C'mon man! Recover soon to put that fantastic backhand on court again!

Here's my question: which one of them is going to be responsible for the discipline? Will Fat Dave get thin? Or will Grigor get fat? Will it just be a lot of racing cars and chasing skirts?

Ok. I promise: I won't maky any jokes about it, not only because I genereally root (or rooted) for those two. But, I am still not exactly sure exactly what Nalbandian will be coaching him about. Here are some possibilities:

a) Bad singing;
b) Maximize your free time while getting results good enough that you can rock and roll;
c) Kick tournament personel;
d) Roll over rally cars;
e) Get fat while still playing.

I actually like option b), to be honest.

Are you aware of the allegations of stalking and harassment involving his ex girl friend Araceli Torrado, setting up a camera in their shared apartment back in 2023, moving on I feel David probably had too much time on his hands, apart from rally car driving he needs a whole new direction in his life, and I quite like ' Nalbandian The Rock and Roll King" option B.
