Jannik Sinner is such a damn good player. I know Carlos is the hot young thing, but this guy is every bit as good, just in a different way. We are really lucky to have these two youngsters - true all-time greats in their early primes. Remember how worrisome it was from about 2012-21 when it seemed like we'd never see another all-time great? Well, we've got two ones, age 22 and (almost) 24.

Well IMO unless there is a Dimitrov moment Sinner will have a nice feather in his cap that his rival Carlos for all his accomplishments has not yet accomplished.

At age 23 he will have reached the final of all 4 slams.

They're both extremely good, but as you mentioned in different ways. It's what I was saying in the other thread. Who, can hang mentally and physically w/ either one for 7 matches? There are none and we're at least 2 years away from Fonz, Mensik, etc challenging them at this level

Which is why I am sure he will be back next year. He was hampered last year at Wimbledon, as well as this year in Australian and now at Wimbledon. Plus, he's only 3 wins behind Federer for most wins at both Australia and Wimbledon. Which is why unless he is physically unable, Djokovic will at least play Australian and Wimbledon next year. There's no way he's passing up the chance to set all-time records.
