Fiero, is that you?

Alcaraz is not "leagues ahead" and whether he ends up with "way more Slams" is highly debatable and completely unknown. To say that is "clear from this final" outdoes Fiero at his most hyperbolic.
5-2 already in slams is more than double so we'll agree to disagree. 6-2 quite possibly in a few weeks.

I read an article from Cahill saying they were pleased Jannik got to the final, though were still hesitant to see his 'real playing level' being out for 3 months and only allowing to practice a little before Rome and then into RG
I will be interested to read what he says about this match and tournament overall.

If was hoping if I waited a minute, someone else would take on Front for this comment. No reason for this "prediction" of his. Carlos was defending champion, and it was a ridiculously close and dramatic match. Could have gone either way, in the end. They hopefully have a long rivalry ahead, and surely Jannik has a lot of Majors in him. Not hard to predict a French Open or two for him, either. He gets very high marks for the tournament, coming in without much prep.

Sinner broke Carlos in the first game of the 3rd set, but he failed to confirm a break. The match was so long I almost forgot about this momentum shift.

That was when the momentum shifted. Almost seemed too little, too late. But yes, that was hours ago, and hard to remember how that match seemed like it would be over in straights.

I heard that Adam guy say TNT had 10 years to cover RG. That must be the coverage contract they signed

If you're referring to Carlos, he's 5-0 in finals. Hasn't lost one yet.
No, I meant he has 5 slams to Sinner's 2 and soon to be 6-2 I reckon. Can't see anyone beating Alcaraz at Wimbledon. Sinner just took a huge mental beating and Alcaraz got a massive confidence boost coming back from the brink of death saving those 3 match points.

5-0 in finals is unreal alright but not the stat I was pointing out. If it pans out he wins Wimbledon, I stand by what I said with leagues ahead and that Alcaraz will end up with way more slams barring injury.

Got it. As to Carlos winning Wimby. There will be challenges there too. Just depends on the day. We know how fast things can change on grass against a big server. Draper will have home backing. Hopefully he won't bomb out early like he did here.
