.Djoko winning is never exciting for me because at the back of my mind there are a lot of suspicions.Something ain't right...
I know. How do you explain 20-year-olds getting tired very easily, but Djokovic at 16 years older never tiring out?

Ruud cant hit through Novak, he has to find another way, so far I dont mind his tactics
He came out like a Lion but remembered he is just a lamb.. Djokovic has the GS champion title lead. He definitely deserves it ... Casper will NEVER win a GS..he is definitely a bridesmaid..

I knew when Rune lost, it was over because there's was way to much pressure on Carlitos.. Congratulations to Novak and his fans.. Maybe this is OVER now

"First he will take your feet, then he will take your soul," Andy Roddick tweeted this week about Novak Djokovic, in an attempt to illustrate not only the power of the Serb in the mental and physical realm, but especially the effect of this dominance on his opponents . This morning (Saturday) in front of Sasha Zebrav it was felt precisely: it was another demonstration of systematic elimination, which brought him one step closer to the new heights.

Should be "Zverev".

I really do think part of this is the Tom Brady effect. With better nutrition, conditioning & hard work Brady was able to keep his body going as he acquired all this experience.

Most prior QB’s had all this knowhow & experience but could not execute because their bodies had given out.

Novak has 15+ years playing Slams versus other all time greats, so a Major final vs Ruud isnt going to intimidate him, he knows what he has to do and what he has done dozens of times before.

He’s halfway to another shot at a Calendar Grand Slam…

Casper has to improve his bhand, a weakness in his game, he also needs to work on his bhand slice, another shot that worked against him in the final, Ruud has what I described as a 'workman like overall game".
It will be an interesting grass season, as I feel there arent many players that can match Novak on grass, though I think Rune has a good game for grass.

This quote is from Ivanisevic Novak's coach ( via Sasa Ozmo, tennis journalist about 8 mins ago)

" Alcaraz is going to win I don't know how many Slams, but I was surprised that most people considered him the favorite against Novak"

Irrelevant comment as they were tied one set all before Alcaraz physically was bothered. If Alcaraz didn’t have his cramps, then he probably would have won, nobody expected his physical issues. The way Goran commented as if Djokovic beat him without any other factors., he should’ve just not said anything due to the circumstances.

Oh well he has a right to his opinion, though point taken it was 1set all, we will never know the outcome of the match, if Alcaraz didnt cramp

Exactly, that's why Goran should have not commented like that. When someone wins a match while the opponent wasn't 100% you don't brag about "oh I can't believe that some thought the opponent was the favorite".

As I said he has a right to his opinion, just like you

Ugh, nevermind. Yes, I know that he has the right to say to an opponent who got injured that I can't believe people thought that you were the favorite, indeed it's not against the law to rub it in I'm just saying that his comment lacks class and is inappropriate in such a situation. But go ahead Goran, keep on always making stupid comments year after year as you have the "right to your opinion".

Djokoivc,
" One of the biggest titles of my career. I knew that history was on the line, but I tried to prepare as best as possible to think about the match. My team created a good bubble around me"

And we all will continue to "throw up in our mouths ".

Again THIS is why I wanted Rune to be across the net. It wasn't meant to be..Life goes on for now..
