In what; money earned? I doubt even there if Roger plays a couple more years! It's not like Rafa will last as long; breaking down as we speak; errrr post! :nono:  :ptennis:
That's that everyone was saying in 2009 but here we are 2018 Nadal still here so I think he will stop then he wants to.

The USO has done that in the past; esp. on the ladies' side of the tourney! Going back to '79, I still remember Evert had a very easy time with BJK (injured neck) in their SF match on Thursday, while Martina fell to Austin on Friday! :nono:
I'm not sure how I'm trying to have my cake and eat it though. Yes I believe Roger was affected by mono. I believe it impacted his annual routine of practicing in the spring and his form was off for the rest of the year. I really believe that. And his performances throughout 2008 bear that out. Am I saying that he had mono when he was getting tuned? No. I haven't said that. Rafa beat him fair and square in RG. I have complaints about the match being extended past about 2 - 2 in the 5th set at Wimbledon. I agree with DF that he was shite in the first 2 sets. Even Roger has talked about how he had such a loss of confidence facing Rafa in the final after being crushed in RG, I don't know why you have an issue with that. I have never said that Rafa didn't deserve to win that match. Never. Is that the same as your implying that Rafa would have beaten Soderling in 09 if he didn't have knee issues? I would say not. That's excuse making. El Dude was kind enough to post a link of highlights of that match and what any neutral observer would tell you is that Rafa was hitting the ball short to absolutely the worst opponent to do that to in those conditions and he paid for it. He could have had bionic knees and he wasn't getting to those balls. You can delude yourself all you want. But to simplistically say that I'm trying to have my cake and eat it? Nah... I don't write posts saying that if Roger's back had been fine in last year's USO he would have won. He lost. I"m over it. I do berate him for putting himself in that position. But then there's you, saying that Rafa would have beaten Stan at the AO after getting crushed in the first set. Despite what was in plain view. I could forgive your initial excuse making, because none of us knew who Sftanimal was at the time. But even now I get the sense you want to come up with that woulda coulda stuff about that match. I don't do that. I don't argue in the face of overwhelming evidence, even if I probably have more justification seeing as Roger is a more accomplished winner than Rafa. But then I guess it's easier for me to get over losses, maybe that's what sets Fed fans apart from Rafa fans :)
Federer will not win any more majors AO was the last one :nono:Rafael nadal will get to 23 slams will win the FO18 USO 18, AO 19 , FO19, USO19, FO20 Wimbledon 2020:yesyes:

You can wish in one hand, shit in the other and see what fills up quicker.

Roger isn't going to turn into a scrub, the iron's hot with this scrub field. Soon it will be time for more winning and if Rafa inches closer he will dial in more himself. He is the far better talent and is entitled to demonstrate his superiority.

Who knows how many both will win, but if I were to guess I would say Roger wins 2 more, and Rafa 3, so Roger ends with 22, Rafa with 19.

Don't take it all too seriously, @Nadal goat2 . We're allowed to root and wish around here, and joke around too. And, who would have predicted that Fedal would go on to win 5 straight majors from 2017 on? Anyway I won't wish you good luck with your prediction (obviously in a bit of jest, folks didn't get that though), as I root for the other guy...

Well yes Federer is to play great like he has since last year. but I think there is always a chance djokovic, could make a comeback this year and push for Wimbledon, USO titles. But if yea Federer will be favorite for Wimbledon, USO will be a great chances to win both.

Djokovic is in serious danger of becoming the next Del Po. When they decide to have a surgical procedure 7 months after he stopped playing that is a terrible sign.

Without him in there and with Murray also in serious jeopardy this is a laughable field right now. I mentioned last year by RG that the iron was red hot and the slams could easily all go to Fed and Nadal. Well, nearly a year later it is looking similar. Fed and Nadal will have opportunities to have another 2 slam year or even more.

I doubt it! One if not both probably will be done by that time of the season; even with an abbreviated schedule! There's a reason Nadal has failed so often at Wimbledon and the USO with so many upsets! He only won last season due to such a dream draw! Roger's only made that one final in 2015 since his hey day of 6 straight USO finals! :yesyes:

Yea I would not call winning the USO 3 times 4 finals two out of last four USO he's played as failed., plus with Djokovic, Murray Injured Nadal and federer could easy make the USO final or Wimbledon.

I think the USO this year is going to be wild and woolly. Fedal could be tiring, and I think we'll see a few young guns firing on all cylinders and hungry for a Slam.

LOL, what injury did he have in the AO 2017? He was just beaten and what's more it should have been over in 3 sets. He would have won Wimbledon 2012 if Rosol hadn't beaten him?! ROFL! Loads of the ones you've listed that he was "injured" he didn't even lose in the damn final so how could he have possibly won them?! There's no point even discussing RG 2009 anymore either...he was just beaten by the better player. It happens.

Well yes He was Injured at AO last year Nadal just did not say anything because he respect for Federer. He got the. Injury in the semis but later said on Facebook that he was not 100% and as for WC 12 he was Injured in that match you can see how slowly he was moving. Nadal would have beaten Federer or Murray in the final and finally The reason he could not play Wimbledon was because of the Injury he got at FO.
