Some positive signs from Roger. I see more lift off the ground when he serves. I see more small adjustment steps. Now I need to see lift on the inside out forehand and a couple of DTL backhand winners. I know...baby steps...

What a duff by Lopez. Anyway, I'd say Fed looks pretty loose. I have seen other matches, but he looks fine now.

EDIT: And don't get defensive: I have already gone on record as believing that his back was rough in the first 2 rounds.

Yes he looks completely normal so far...

That was a hell of a return.

Feds first serve has been really bad this set. Still has decent pop.

Love what I'm seeing, let's see if he can keep it going.

Good call to attack Feli's backhand with a slice...I mean, the guy has not hit backhand drives for years, he is not going to be an expert at it overnight.

Seems like that back has loosened up.

Lopez obviously hits over his backhand a lot more than he used to. Almost wonder for this match and Fed's back if it had been a better strategy to slice it and make Roger get down low a lot.

Nice escape in that difficult game and follows it up with another break for a double break set. Way to go RF!
